  • About the Project

    We didn’t know when the character we created for Live’ly would be such a hit. We just wanted to tell the story of what Live’ly does for their customers. But now Sami (he’s been given a name) has become a sort of mascot for the company. You’ll see him wherever Live’ly is.

    Live’ly wanted to expand their use of Sami. They asked us to create videos with Sami that gave useful health tips. These explainer videos were a little different in that we weren’t describing a process. These videos were mostly for education of the Live’ly customers. We call the videos “The Adventures of Sami.”

    Because we were now creating a series of videos starring Sami, we also tied the videos together using the same narrator. The familiarity strengthens the positioning of Live’ly as a trusted authority in the health and fitness arena.

    Live’ly had tips and tricks to stay fit and eat healthy even while traveling. We incorporated them into a story about Sami going on holiday. We storyboarded a few scenarios that Sami (and the company’s customer) might find himself in. From packing at the start of a trip to staying at the hotel.

    You see that Sami doesn’t just show you how to be health conscious while vacationing. We crafted an engaging story of Sami overcoming temptations and succeeding in his fitness goals. Just like Live’ly wants their customers to do.
