Shops & Rewards is a mobile app that wants to reward users who are brand ambassadors. How do they do it? That’s where we come in. We put together an explainer video that clearly demonstrated the value of using the Shops & Rewards app.
While the app is for everyone, the target audience for Shops & Rewards is women who like to shop. You’ll see that we kept women in mind even when considering the colors we chose.
We also wanted different types of women to see themselves using the app without overdoing it. We went with two female characters with an emphasis on one.
Through the writing process, we wrote a scene where the user would feel they had earned rewards from their favorite brands just by being fans. We showed the need there. She needs this app to collect her rewards.
Rewards programs can get complicated. The most important things are knowing how to get reward points and how many points are needed. By having the character enter the app, we were better able to explain these distinct parts. We even highlighted the Me section, which explains everything the user needs to know.
Shops & Rewards was pleased with the end result. We targeted their specific market in an approachable and easy-to-understand way.
